Description
This van has been my daily driver for the last 19 yrs, it
has had a very easy life and has been mechanically looked after. Cosmetically
it has age related knocks, dents and scratches which have really never bothered me
(it is after all a van). The van is fully ply lined, which creaks a bit but an
hour or so replacing a few screws would sort that out, again this did not

This van has been my daily driver for the last 19 yrs, it
has had a very easy life and has been mechanically looked after. Cosmetically
it has age related knocks, dents and scratches which have really never bothered me
(it is after all a van). The van is fully ply lined, which creaks a bit but an
hour or so replacing a few screws would sort that out, again this did not
bother me. The driver’s seat has been replaced and does not match the passenger
seat. The window winder has been
replaced on the passenger door and is not the correct handle, it does however
work. The windscreen has scratches from the wipers but they have been there for
years and have not been a problem for the MOT which expires on 18th
Dec 2024.
The current mileage is just 64K miles (subject to change)
*The following major jobs have been done.*
New clutch, timing belt and water pump Dec 2020 at around
60K miles
Full service July 2023
N/S CV joint replaced (hence staining on the garage floor in photo)
Rear brakes and handbrake cable rebuilt/replaced
The van comes with a “Rhino” galvanised roof rack with
rollers which cost about £300+ when new (17+ yrs ago).
A cheap and cheerful dash cam, power cable and 3 socket
cigarette lighter usb charger.
A Kenwood radio/CD player with a removable facia
Two keys.
*Now the downside.*
This is the 1149cc SL16P petrol engine version 1600kg gross
capacity which if I am honest is under powered if you do heavy work.
The van drives and handles well, however it has developed a fault in that the right hand indication
does not work, I have not investigated beyond checking bulbs (all of which are
good), this happened years ago and it was a relay in the ECU/BCU (not sure
which), checking online there are people who can fix this for not much money
(hence it is listed as spares/repair).
This is a fantastic little van with many years left in it
given a little TLC.
