All work under my ownership completed by Nick Bennett at Bennett’s Bongos
It has some signs of corrosion like all of them but recently passed MOT and had any required work.
Well used but well loved, those who know these vans will appreciate the quirks they can often carry. The van has been excellent for me in the 18 months I’ve owned it and it’s taken me on thousands of miles around the UK on mountain biking trips.
I built and installed a removable leisure battery with split charger and inverter so I could have off grid power on trips. I’d like to keep this and not include in the sale but if it’s a game changer for a potential sale then it can be discussed as part of the negotiation.
The usual bumps and scrapes of a near 30 year old van but overall good working condition. Air con works, as do the electric windows and elevating roof. Blinds are intermittent but all still in tact and work manually. Rear and cab curtains all in place too. Pop top has a memory foam covered mattress which is thin enough to stay there when roof is down too. Included in the sale will be thermal fitted blinds for pop top, and if required, a second memory foam mattress for topping the seats inside the van if sleeping downstairs is required.
I’m lead to believe the wooden steering wheel is from a Mazda MX5.
It has some cool Japanese stickers on the windows from its former life too which I think adds to the character.
Happy to discuss anything in more detail
Van is ready to go and enjoy, and upon sale completion I will give a good clean out, hoover, remove any possessions etc.
