Hi this is my 2014 Ford transit custom 2.2 just under 218k on the clock. I brought the van in February this year to keep for 6 to 12 months for transporting bikes on family trips. The old owner of the van had the engine replaced in October last year, the engine had done 120k so it’s done around 125k now, I’ve lost the recipe and a few other bits of paper work if I find them I will put on here. Since owning I’ve had the wheels and bars powder coated so in new condition that cost nearly £600, the seats are covers what I put on they were £150. the van had a oil leak coming from the rocker gasket so I had that done, I had a oil change new filters and new alternator at the same time. I was told it had a DPf delete and stage 1 remap. The central locking does not work but can lock off the key and the locks on the back/side door have been changed for extra security, it has one set of keys. it has 12 service stamps. The van has ran great up to a few weeks ago. the oil light came on and it sounded terrible (see video) with loss of power. There’s no oil leaking from anywhere and plenty of oil in with no coolant in the oil or oil in coolant. I got towed home and this is where it’s stayed, only started once for the video and I won’t be starting it again. Know one has looked at it and I wouldn’t drive it, it will need to be recovered or towed. The van has a couple of marks on nothing major (see pics/video) but it’s quite tidy for a van. It’s free of finance and accident damage. I don’t have a clue what’s up with it, It could be something small or massive I really don’t no or can’t be bothered to find out, I have a new van now. Viewing is more than welcome before the end of auction, there is no buy it now but if the right offer comes I’ll let it go if not the auction will run and sell for that. Please don’t bid to view or waste my time. I want £100 none refundable deposit paid within 12 hours of auction ending and collecting within a week if you can’t do that please don’t bid also anyone with less than 10 feedback contact me first or your bid will be removed. Please don’t waste my time I just want the van gone to free up drive space. Any questions welcome but I’m not a mechanic look at the video and make your own mind up. I have the v5 in my name, it’s sold as spares or repairs with no warranty given.
