Ford Transit 1996 2.5di high top/roof van.
This van has been barn stored for 16 years and has no m.o.t so will need to be trailered/transported away.
The Van has only covered 52000 miles from new so this is very rare to see, with all old m.o.t certificates to prove and also loads of paper work and receipts.
Lots of history with this van.

We drained oil and oil filter and replaced with new, we then replaced the diesel filter for a new one and replaced the old diesel and the Engine fired up after 16 years with no trouble at all, no smoke what so ever, gearbox and clutch was perfect.
This is not your unusual rust bucket with chassis rot etc this van is very clean underneath including steps, sill, chassis it’s all in good condition.
Never been welded and completely original metal work.
Only rust on the van is cosmetic as it needs a new passenger wing and the rear door has some rust at the bottom of door, There are a couple of surface rust spots and a couple of bits of the body work could do with a tidy up which for 28 years old is understandable.
As you can appreciate the brakes will need overhauling and will need 4 new tyres because the van has been sitting for so long.
I wish I had the time to do this myself as this will make a great van and a perfect future classic with low miles but unfortunately I just do not have the time.
Selling as spares or repairs as no m.o.t but with new tyres, brakes overhauled and a little body work I am very confident it will pass without any trouble as the underneath has no rust.
Great project for someone who wants to earn a nice profit as this van all done with the low mileage will sell for good money.
