A unique and reliable ex-ambulance camper conversion, professionally maintained and thoughtfully built for full-time van life, long-term travel, or weekend adventures.
I bought the van in 2022 and converted it into a comfortable off-grid home, travelling and working around the UK. It’s been incredibly dependable and is genuinely ready to drive away and use immediately. Now that I’ve moved back into a house, it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
The Van:
Being an ex-ambulance, this Sprinter was built to a very high standard and still turns heads everywhere it goes. One of the standout features is the original ambulance side access door with fully functioning fold-down steps.
The van drives beautifully and comes with:
Full year’s MOT (until May 2027)
Fresh service
Driver and passenger airbags
Manual gearbox
3.0L diesel engine
Living space & storage
The interior was designed to maximise comfort and practicality.
Features include:
Small double bed
Large under-bed storage accessible from the rear
3 overhead cupboards above the bed
Additional kitchen storage cupboards
Rear window fitted for extra natural light
Opening side ambulance windows for ventilation
Ideal for solo travel or couples.
Off-Grid Electrical System
Fully equipped off-grid setup with quality components throughout.

The electric blanket was a game changer during winter van life.

The van includes an underslung LPG tank with refill point at the rear. UK and European travel adapter set to refill.

Spare LPG connection available for future fridge installation

Very comfortable year-round setup.

Truma blown-air heating system with thermostat controls
Carbon monoxide alarm fitted
The insulation keeps the van warm long after the heating is switched off.
The Truma boiler currently requires repair work. I received a quote of approximately £300 to fix it, which has been reflected in the asking price. Considering the unit cost around £1,200 new, it’s well worth the new owner repairing.
This van has been an amazing vehicle and my home, and I’d love it to go to someone who’ll enjoy it as much as I have.
